Editorial Policy
How we research, write, and maintain content — and how we handle commercial relationships.
Last updated: August 2026
CredNavid publishes English-language financial education content — including credit card reviews, comparison tools, and personal finance guides — for U.S. consumers making financial decisions. This page describes the standards we apply to that content and how we maintain the separation between our editorial and commercial operations.
Our Editorial Standards
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions — what to cover, how to evaluate products, what language to use — are made independently of any commercial relationship. Product providers do not review content before publication and have no right to request changes to editorial content.
Consistent Evaluation Standards
Every credit card we review is evaluated using the same editorial framework covering rewards value, fees, benefits, and accessibility. Products with affiliate relationships are not assessed more favorably than products without them. We cover products critically when their terms warrant it.
Source Transparency
Product terms are checked against official issuer disclosures, cardholder agreements, and official marketing materials when content is created or updated. When we cite statistics or research, we link to the original source where available.
Accuracy and Updates
Financial product terms change frequently. We review and update content periodically and when material changes are identified. We always recommend verifying current terms directly with the card issuer before applying.
Commercial Relationships
Some links on this site may direct users to third-party financial institutions or product providers. If affiliate partnerships are established in the future, they will be clearly disclosed. Any such compensation will not determine our editorial assessments or conclusions.
Corrections Policy
When we publish an error — factual, numerical, or contextual — we correct it promptly. Corrections are noted with an updated date. Readers can report potential errors via our Contact page. Editorial corrections are our highest-priority reader inquiry.
Who Writes Our Content
CredNavid is a developing independent financial education website. Content is researched and written with the goal of helping readers understand financial products clearly and accurately. As the site grows, we intend to expand our editorial coverage and contributor base.
We do not publish sponsored content, native advertising, or paid editorial placements. All content is produced according to the standards described on this page.
Scope of Coverage
Our coverage focuses on: U.S. personal credit cards, credit score education, secured credit products, consumer banking, and general personal finance for consumers in the United States. We do not publish investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Content is for informational and educational purposes only.
We may not cover all available products in any category. The absence of a product from our coverage does not imply that product is inferior. Coverage decisions are based on editorial relevance and reader interest.
